imconfident

I sincerely believe that it is far more beneficial and far less costly to help a child build confidence than it is to fix an adult who has little or none.

Who are the happiest people in the world?

on December 19, 2013

group clappingThe happiest people in the world are the most active.  This doesn’t mean people who try to jam 18 hours of work or activity into 12 hours.   I’m not talking about workaholics or multi-taskers because they are often overstressed or burnt out.  The people I’m talking about are those who:

  • live life to the fullest
  • always do their best at work and play
  • enjoy leisure time
  • spend time with their family and friends
  • take daily quiet time to reflect and meditate
  • take care of their health by eating properly and exercising
  • help others with their time, talents and treasure
  • keep learning and growing
  • maintain a positive attitude
  • have faith

People who spend their days focused on their problems, thinking negative thoughts, feeling sorry for themselves and not taking care of their health will not find happiness in their lives.   I know because I lived that life and it doesn’t work.  Don’t allow any negative thoughts to stay in your mind.  Do whatever it takes to chase them out.  Turn on some lively music.  Sing out loud.  Get up and dance.  Expand your mind by reading some inspirational books and listening to motivational materials.

The best advice I can give to anyone who struggles in their daily lives is to keep your mind and body active.   It works great and you will be happier.
