Do you surround yourself with negative people, places and things?
Depending on who and what you surround yourself with, you life will reflect the positivity or negativity of your surroundings.
It is impossible to eliminate all negativity from our lives, but we should try to reduce the amount of time we spent with negative people and stop going to places and using things that are causing a negative effect on our lives.
Create an inner and outer circle of support and put everyone you know in the appropriate circle.
The inner circle should include positive people who support and uplift you. They should be the ones you can trust and with whom you want to spend the most time. This circle may include just 1 or 2 family members or friends to begin with, but this can grow over a period of time.
Your outer circle will be any family member or friends with whom you don’t feel completely comfortable. They will be those who are negative, unsupportive and uncaring. These are people who you should distance yourself from, so they don’t pull you down. You should always try to be a positive example to these people and hopefully in time, draw them closer to your inner circle.
Trying to stay focused on positive people, places and things will help you build confidence and increase your self-esteem.
