Positive affirmations for children

Affirmations are great motivators and can be used by people of all ages.   It can be very beneficial to children if we start teaching them how to say positive affirmations.

Saying affirmations regularly will help children feel good about themselves and they will become more responsible.  Affirmations can help children develop confidence and build strong self-esteem.

Here are some affirmations for children:

  • I am a nice person.broom
  • I pick up my toys.
  • I follow directions.
  • I stay calm.
  • I learn quickly and easily.
  • I clean my room.
  • I like to help others.
  • I’m a good girl/boy.
  • I am careful.
  • I obey the rules.
  • I finish what I start.
  • I always try my best.
  • I talk nice to my friends.
  • I like to play sports.
  • I exercise.
  • I read stories.
  • I help with the chores.
  • I feed the dog/cat.
  • I put away my clean clothes.
  • I say ‘please’ and ‘thank-you’.
  • I share my toys.
